I present to you an unusual and delightful gift to make for a baby or child, a charming bedtime story to accompany a beautiful quilt.

I always wanted to do more than just design and give a quilt. Each time I was quilting, I had this desire to some way involve the little one. Influenced by an incredible African safari, I was brought from designing the animal appliqués to producing a story and pattern that are intricately interwoven.

I hope you enjoy selecting fabrics, planning and quilting as much as this versatile quilt allows. I hope you or your friends or family get to read along with that special little one and talk about the animals in the jungle and may be even get to tell what fun it was choosing the fabrics and quilting this lovely keepsake.
